Eligibility Criteria of Assam Police Recruitment

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after publication of the final select list.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2023. Candidate must be born on or before 1st January 2005 and on or after 1st January 1983.

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

# SC, ST (P) and ST(H): 5 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years

Educational Qualification:

Safai Karmachari: Minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.

Tailor: Candidates must have passed HSLC from any recognized Board or Council and Diploma in Trade are eligible.

Dresser: Candidates must have passed HSLC from any recognized board or council and having experience in Dresser (Medical) are eligible.

Application Fee: No application fee is to be paid by candidates.
